Another superb notebook from Apple, equipped with all features you can expect from a modern notebook. Modest processor, good RAM size, 8600 GT VGA card and large HD space, will make it a smooth notebook for office work and acceptable gaming rig. Although you’ll find small a few games, which run on Mac.
However, for those, who is not gaming oriented this notebook is highly recommended!

This notebook is simply amazing, Leopard and Vista shouldn’t even be said in the same sentence. I put 4 Gb of RAM. I have about 8 startup programs and after the login screen, it takes only about 4 seconds to load fully where my CPU is taking a nap and idling. That is screaming fast. i also installed XP through parallels which also runs really fast, though it does cut the battery life in half to run windows simultaneously. however, parallels lets you pause Windows so it doesn’t use resources.
This machines are awesome and don’t have any disturbing issue. The operating system is incredible. Very secure and easy to navigate and use very quickly. Most peripherals you buy work pretty seamlessly with this machine. I don’t think you can beat Apple at all.

Definitely Faster than my AMD 64 3800+ desktop, not i’m playing games of course but I use it for everyday tasks. Quite stable, I leave it on usually for month straight, never hanged on me, though my AMD box rarely does that now but some programs don’t play well on XP. The things I like the most are actually the auto dim screen, auto backlit keyboard and mouse/touchpad. The keyboard is super comfortable and EXTREMELY quite, with auto dim screen and backlit keyboard I work at night and for the 1st time my girlfriend did not complain; the mouse/touchpad is unbelievably convenient as well, never new the one-button mouse I use to bash about is such a nice design.
I used this computer for some professional tasks like web design, web programming, C++….does everything well as you expect it to; especially many simple and casual tasks are well done, like web surfing just make me not wanting to turn on my PC. I like my AMD tower too as I put a lot of work into it, but its solely for gaming and running programs that doesn’t run on Mac. This has became my everyday computer and sure beats the Dells, even the Sony’s I’ve used in the past; take it from a guy who used to laugh at Mac’s one button touchpad

This is a great computer for ordinary persons other who does not understand a thing about computers. I have built many Windows machines. For home use the Mac OS x operating system is so much easier to set up. They also seem to be getting easier to integrate into the Windows world than they used to be. The Apple laptops in my opinion are far superior to other laptops. They are especially easy for those that are not computer geeks to set up and get going. I had the wireless network/accounts/parental controls, everything setup in about 20 minutes. I highly recommend this to some one who does not geek out on computers and just needs something that works.
