User Review:
Very high feature content for what I was looking for - Core 2 Duo, 3GB RAM (the max that a 32-bit system can see), 250MB Hard Drive, Webcam, Graphics Card… Add in the HDMI port which seems to be the wave of the future, and this is one sweet deal! Not a huge gamer, so this can function as a desktop replacement as well (I hope). Plan on hooking it up to a 22″” LCD monitor via HDMI and using a wireless keyboard/mouse.
For this price, this is a great deal. Processor isn’t a barnburner, but considering what I use it for, it should be fine and it is Core 2 Duo. I did max out processor utilization (according to the Vista CPU Meter gadget) while importing a CD into iTunes. Not sure if that would be any different for a faster processor. Two available accessories might make this really multimedia system friendly - the HP QuickDock and their HD ExpressCard TV Tuner. Not sure if I really need them at this point, but nice to have the option.
